Hi, I'm Theo — the founder of Orael.

I build automation, data and AI systems for businesses on the Microsoft Power Platform — the tools that take the manual, repetitive work off your plate so your team can focus on what actually matters.

I'm a builder at heart. I work across Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, Dataverse and Copilot Studio, and I care less about the tech for its own sake than about what it does: removing friction, killing busywork, and building systems that are efficient by design — light on resource, light on compute, light on waste.

Before tech, I spent years in high-pressure professional kitchens — including some of the best in the country. It's not where I am now, but it's where I learned the thing that drives everything I build: great systems are invisible, and waste is the enemy.

Where the standard came from

The discipline behind the work was forged in kitchens like these.

The story

What Orael is really about

Most businesses I meet are full of capable people held back by the same thing: clunky processes and tools that don't talk to each other. Quotes typed out by hand. Reports rebuilt from scratch every month. The same data keyed into three different systems. It's invisible, it's exhausting, and it quietly costs a fortune in lost time.

Orael exists to fix that. I build on the Microsoft Power Platform — Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, Dataverse, Copilot Studio — because it's secure, scalable, and lets me deliver real, connected systems fast. Automation that runs the repetitive work. Dashboards that turn scattered numbers into decisions. AI agents that handle enquiries. CRMs that actually fit how a business operates.

"I'm not interested in technology for its own sake. I'm interested in what it removes — the friction, the busywork, the waste."

The thing that sets how I work apart is a near-obsessive standard for how systems should run. I trace that back to the years I spent in professional kitchens, where precision and zero waste aren't ambitions — they're the baseline. That environment rewired how I see operations: map the process, strip out the waste, build something lean that just works. I bring that same instinct to every build.

What you get is someone who treats your systems with genuine care, explains everything in plain English, and builds without over-engineering. No jargon, no bloat, no waste. Just technology that earns its keep — and a founder you actually deal with directly.

How I work

What you can expect

The principles behind every system I build.

Precision over guesswork

Every system is mapped, tested and built to fit how you actually work — not bolted together and hoped for. Scoped properly before a line is built.

Built lean, run green

Efficient by instinct. I build systems that don't waste your time, your budget, or energy — choosing lean, low-footprint architecture so what I deliver is as sustainable as it is effective.

You deal with me

No account managers, no handoffs. You work directly with the person building your system — fast, clear, and straight-talking.

Built responsibly

Technology that treads lightly.

Efficiency isn't just good engineering — it's good for the planet. The same instinct that makes a system fast and lean also makes it sustainable: less compute, less energy, less waste. At Orael, that's not an afterthought bolted on at the end. It's how everything is built from the first line.

  • Lean by design. Efficient architecture that uses only the resources it needs — no bloat, no waste.
  • Cloud-smart. Building on Microsoft's carbon-aware cloud, which runs on a commitment to be carbon-negative.
  • Paperless by default. Automation that replaces printed forms, manual records and duplicated effort with clean digital flows.
  • Less, but better. Removing waste from how a business runs — wasted time, wasted effort, wasted potential.
